Change the keys for History, and remove the History menu, I guess.
I don't use the most visited/sortbyvisits function, so I can't be 100% certain.

@Mafia_Penguin - yea but I am still sorta wherry about that because my history is still being saved.
@chiaroscuro - same thing as Mafia_Penguin, also that sort of defeats the purpose because once my history is cleared. then all of my visit counts are cleared to.

Guess I will try to make some sort of encrypted file that only saves page visit count.

Having Googled this whole question a little it would seem the visit count is intimately linked with History.

I found no reference to the possibility of retaining the visit count in Histories absence.

Maybe you may find something.

I have seen "Safe browsing mode" possibility in new Firefox versions, which can be activated by a hotkey and temporarily turns off saving of history, etc.

I am not at all clear if safebrowsing will solve all your ills
