Fast Dial and appearing in new tabs/blank pages

Hi,
The reason that setting the default page in Tab Mix Plus directly to the fastdial.html url is necessary is because Fast Dial no longer seems to replace about:blank. I've verified this on a browser *not* running TMP by manually navigating to about:blank. This now actually results in a blank page, rather than the fast dial thumbnails page.
This is too bad, because setting TMP to open a specific page in new tabs forces the cursor out of the address bar, which means extra clicking to manually enter a URL on new tab opening.
Any chance this could be fixed, as I suspect doing so would also eliminate the need for the workaround with TMP.
Also, the TMP folks have indicated they'll be fixing the bug that caused your FD icon in the tab bar to go double-height with their next release.

Now if there were some way one could just get FD putting it's thumbnails on blank pages again without me having to manually set that url in TMP. As I've mentioned, manually setting the url in TMP causes my cursor to *not* be in the address bar on new tabs, which is a growing annoyance.

one more funny thing is cursor is also not in the address bar by default when new window is opened. :/

Yes this is a different issue.
Maybe you could follow the same route.
That is to try to establish with telega the cause of this promlem. If it can be fixed in Fast Dial, I am sure telega will do it.
If the problem is caused by TMP then maybe oneman could help out again.

I think you will find this problem is now been fixed in Version 2.18
Please confirm if that is the case.
