Fast Dial in bookamarks

im not liking the fact that when i click on any of the folders in the bookmarks bar, regardless of where they are, they make the tab go to the fast dial page. Im really disliking this.

EDIT: well...now it seems to not be doing it for every one, but i still dislike that it even does it for the Fast Dial folder. It completely screws me up when im trying to get in and out of the fast dial folder.

AND! i have a suggestion: being able to set a default image for folders (that havent been manually changed) to be. The autogenerated image doesnt look good and having to set one for every folder is annoying.

Interesting idea.

I suppose the default at the moment is the view of the folder cells.

This logo is sometimes useful simply to make the folder cell blank

ermm...but what about the not going to fast dial upon doing something with the bookmarks? Its getting really annoying, when i need to delete something or move it, while on a website and it automatically takes me off and brings me to fast dial

Please could you clarify what it is you are seeking to accomplish ?

If one goes to Bookmarks and then to Organise Bookmarks one can open the Fast Dial Folder there, as well as being able to examine all the subfolders as well.

Or go Bookmarks and then hover on Fast Dial and chose the bookmark of ones choice within Fast Dial.

If one wishes to see the Folders in Fast Dial one can also right click on the Fast Dial Button on the Toolbar

When trying to peruse the bookmarks in the Fast Dial folder manually (from the bookmarks sidebar), I shall click on a bookmark and try to go to that page. Then when i go to click the '-' to minimize the items in that folder, or even to further into another folder, it will redirect me to that folder instead of staying on the site. So basically meaning, if i am manually going through my bookmarks in the sidebar, i dont want to see the actual page on my screen, so it should not change the page that im on.

I have since learnt that CTL-B opens Bookmarks sidebar.

Seems to work fine for me

This facility will be not be available in the next Version of Fast Dial
