make sure that in the appearance tab of the preferences, everything is set to "transparent" except the selected cell field
then right click any logo, and make sure "transparent" is set for the Background field
also use default scale method

Submitted by gumanov on Fri, 07/04/2008 - 13:41ye, and also go to appearance tab and use the word "transparent" in the IMAGE field
go through all the fields to make sure the word "transparent" is spelled correctly, and is the only thing in the fields - no spaces anywhere!

Re: My Transparent Fast Dial !
Submitted by gumanov on Mon, 07/07/2008 - 10:42hmm..
i see some of the logos are working - transparent..
u have 2 options:
update it - change the background color of that iGoogle logo to something and click ok
then change it to "transparent" and click ok
fast dial 2 - install fast dial 2, and load this into the settings (right click > save link as..) -- Link
u would have to change the background image - since those settings are for my pc..
NOTE: i doing what soundofemotion is - running a server , so if u cannot reach the above link - my pc is off lol (rarely happens)
Re: My Transparent Fast Dial !
Submitted by chiaroscuro on Mon, 07/07/2008 - 20:14If some cells are working as Mafi0z points out then it means your system setup is fine
It is sometimes easy when entering the word transparent in the Custom Image/Background Field to leave the remains of the previous colour stuck on the end of the word transparent.
It might be worth going to the end of the word transparent in each custom image/background Field and clicking delete to remove any traces of the previous colour hex description.
Re: My Transparent Fast Dial !
Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on Mon, 07/07/2008 - 16:05I use FastDial 1.90 . Fast Dial 2? I thought I have the latest version because I update it when firefox says me "a new version released for this add-on"
Yes, 2 cells are transparent.
These all images are transparent, I got most of these from this site.
I tried different background images but nothing changed.
May it be because of a custom firefox theme? I use Kempelton. I will try default Strata.
