Launchy Stuff

Cant find where to put copy and pasted text.
You need first to paste that text you got from the xml generator into a Text editor (Notepad for example) and then "save as" the file into the Chrome Folder.
Be careful not to "save as" launchy.xml.txt
So have file types selected as "All" rather than as "Text" when you "save as" the file.
---
To know where to save the text file launchy.xml:
Click on Launchy Icon/Options and then Launchy.xml.
That gives you the exact location of the Chrome Folder.
---
Once you have saved the file, it is much easier to make further edits to the file in situ using Notepad in Launchy.
Good luck

Each application needs fitting in from the word application to application.
The easiest is to cut and paste each time an application to application module and then edit
Here is an example of a longer launchy.xml file from the Tutorial Page:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
EditPad
7
C:\Program Files\Editpad Classic\EditPad.exe
Notepad++
7
C:\Program Files\Notepad++\Notepad++.exe
Screenshot Captor
1
C:\Program Files\ScreenshotCaptor\ScreenshotCaptor.exe
Do you understand?
Easiest to add manually
To get the exact location of an application, if you go to Properties of the shortcut, you will be able to copy paste the link.
The different types are listed in the Tutorial.
If in the file sort is not listed, I usually try "1" for browser but sometimes it causes problems.
Keep me posted.
