Can’t Import

1. I right-click an empty Simple Mail folder and choose Import.
2. If I double-click the ‘attachments‘ folder I’ve chosen to store my emails, it just opens to reveal folders for each saved email.
3 If I double-click one of those folders, I get one of the emails, titled ‘message.txt.’
4. If I double-click the message, nothing happens.
I’ve looked through the manual and searched the forum but can’t find any mention on how the Import feature works. I presume I’m missing something – perhaps you could enlighten me.

Like I’ve said, I hope to use SM for everything and not have to launch occasionally launch Tbird just to perform the tasks that SM can’t.

- import eml : right click on the folder where you want to import the email then choose 'import' , select the .eml file
- import a whole folder : locate where is the file of the folder (for Thunderbird it's in your profile's folder in the 'mail' or 'ImapMail' directory) then under SimpleMail right click on the folder where you want to import the email then choose 'import' , select the file you want to import (you should choose the file without extension : for example 'Inbox' and NOT 'inbox.msf')
