Re: IMAP: "message not found on server" when deleting messages
Submitted by TechnalXS on Tue, 08/23/2011 - 06:14Hi,
This is normal : this mean that the message you want to delete in SimpleMail is already deleted on the server : for example you use Gmail as webmail and in Simple Mail you have put some messages in trash 2 month ago, then you decide to empty trash in Simple Mail, but Gmail delete mail in trash older than one month, so when you empty trash in Simple Mail, messages are already deleted in Gmail
Regards

Submitted by Vadim Rapp on Sat, 10/29/2011 - 21:25I'm not using any other client or webmail; I access my mailbox only by Simple Mail, and I have deleted the message right now by Simple Mail itself.
That is, in SM I go to Inbox, send/receive so it's synchronized; then I select one message and delete it.As soon as it disappears from the screen, there's popup error saying that the message was not found on the server. And SM is the only email client accessing my mailbox at the moment.
